Crews Lake Wilderness Park, Spring Hill Florida

I Live in Spring Hill Florida, and have for over five years however I hadn’t visited Crews Lake Wilderness Park in a long time. I have a lot of memories at Crews Lake Park during the Spring and Summer. It's a nature oasis that's perfect for a day trip. When my friend suggested that we go on a Friday,

I was more than happy to oblige. I hadn't been there in a while and I was excited to see how it's changed.

It was around 10 AM when we pulled into the park. It looked as if all of the driving surfaces were repaved and in very good condition. We decided to drive through the park once before parking the car.

We ended up at pavilion number one. It seemed to be the closest to the boardwalk that goes out over the lake.

Best Place to take a nature Walk

We got to the park and started walking around. We saw some turtle sittings, geese, ducks and herons. We also saw some alligators, which always are cool to see up close. One young girl was jogging by the water (which seemed like a bad idea). There wasn’t anyone fishing at the pier next to the fishing dock where kids can cast a little easier.

This is always a great place to launch a small boat and fish around the lake.

I don’t think it’s an official site for boats, but throughout the years I have always seen people on the lake in small fishing boats.
